Day1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, meet at the airport after custom formalities and transfer to the hotel for check in and rest. 

Day2: Drive to the Baga Gazriin Chuluu rock formation

After breakfast, We will depart for the  the Baga Gazriin Chuluu, Middle Gobi / Dundgobi aimag/. We have lunch at the ger camp. In the late afternoon visit the rock formation and see the beauty of nature. We will enjoy some scenic photo opportunities. There is tiny lovely ruins of ancient temple and home to numerous birds. Overnight in the camp. The  highest one is 15 km long and 10 km wide granite stone-mountain elevated at 1768m above sea level. There are also over 20 kinds of medical herbs like burnet, many kinds of world rare animals like marmot, ibex and mountain sheep. Also you can see Bolort Cave, eye treatment spa, rock images, petroglyphs, burial mounds many other sightseeing. There is a ruin of Choir monastery which was established by “Zava” Damdin, a famous ancient historical, religious and scientific researcher. This monastery had a monastery with few monks translate, print, explain and advertise books from Tibetan languages and research religious philosophy and medical science

Day3: Drive to Tsagaan suvarga, formation cliff

After breakfast, drive through Mandalgobi town to Tsagaan Suvarga on the good paved road. We will have a lunch in the ger camp. After  lunch we will hike to White Stupa. Overnight in the camp. Tsagaan suvarga, 90degree of straight, consists of many colors of clay deposits. This is 65 km south west of Ulziit sum, Dundgovi province. Tsagaan suvarga is big escarpment with 200m height and 400m long. In ancient time there was a big sea in a Khevtee and Bosoo valleys of Tsagaan Suvarga. After dried up the sea this area became area with many glacis and escarpments, covered by many different sedimentary deposits. There is a cave with two doors called Khevtee and Bosoo which is home of many bats.

Day4: Drive to the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Park

We pack and depart south toward Gobi desert. You will be entering the wonder of Gobi landscapes and see the wild life and endemic flora. Enjoy the local restaurant lunch and visit the Dalanzadgad local bazaar.  After lunch we will visit the Yoliin Am and visit Umgugobi Nature museum. Enjoy hiking in the beautiful valley. Possible spotting wildlife if you are lucky.
Drive to base camp. Relaxing evening in the camp which is  located nearby beautiful national park. Overnight in the ger camp.

Day5: Drive to Khongoryn Els sand Dunes

We will drive to Khongor Sand Dunes (Khongoryn Els) is a largest and most beautiful sand dune in Mongolia, which reaches a height of 800 meter, 12 km wide and 100 km long. The Sand dune lies at the northwest corner of the Gurvan Saikhan Mountain range. It is located 180km from the Dalanzadgad city, provincial capital.  The sound of masses of wind-blown sand can be heard from the long distance. This sound is so melodic and 200m high sand dunes called as “Singing Dunes”. There is an oasis called Khongor river with stunning greenery in the summer. It is a great place to ride two humped Bacterian camel named by locals “Prince of Gobi” and see camel breeder’s everyday life. This dramatic scenery features many colors of nature as white sand dune, the light green grass, red-blue mountains and the eternal blue sky. Overnight at the camp tourist

Day6: Khongoryn Els Sand Dunes

After relaxing morning, you will visit the Camel Breeding family and will enjoy the camel riding to the sand dunes. In the evening you will climb up to the sand dunes and enjoy the sunset.

Day7: Drive to Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs

After breakfast, you will continue to drive homeland of dinosaurs. Stop for village to fill in tanks and look around the little village and visit the local museum. It is a fascinating to watch the sunset from the flaming cliffs and hiking around the paleontological sights. After breakfast, you will continue to drive homeland of dinosaurs. Day8: Drive to Ongiin Temple

You will drive to the ruins of Ongi Monastery and learn the significance of the place and a local museum. From the top a nearby hill, we will stop to experience a stunning sunset. Day9: Drive to Orkhon Waterfall

 After breakfast we will drive to Orkhon waterfall which is situated in the Orkhon river, that flows 1120km; the longest river in Mongolia. The local name of the waterfall is Ulaan Tsutgalan and the height is 24m, waterfall was formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes about 20 000 years ago. The water level of the waterfall depends on the rainfall. Hiking opportunities to the bottom of the gorge. Overnight at the camp.

Day10: Drive to Kharkhorin

After breakfast we will drive to Kharkhorin; an ancient Capital of Great Mongolian Empire and Erdenezuu Monastery. Kharkhorin was established in the valley of Orkhon river in 1220. Kharkhorin played significant role in Mongolian history and was a capital city of Mongolian Great Empire until Khubilai Khaan, a grandson of Chinggis Khaan moved the capital to Beijing of Yuan Dynasty. Erdenezuu Monastery – the first Buddhist monastery was founded by Avtai Sain Khaan, descendant of Chinggis Khaan, on the ruins of Kharkhorin in 1586. The monastery is surrounded by beautiful looking white walls with 108 stupas. Overnight in the ger camp.

Day11: Drive to Tsenkher Hot Spring

After breakfast, we will visit the Erdene Zuu monastery and listen the chanting. Then we will continue our driving to the Tsenkher hot spring. Enjoy the natural hot spring. Overnight in a ger camp. The sulphur springs of Tsenkher emerge from the ground at 86C. The hot spring is especially good for skin allergy.We will relax in Hot spa for the whole day. It is a good treatment after every day long driving.

Day12: Drive to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur Lake and khorgo Volacano

Breakfast is in the ger camp. We will drive to Tsetserleg town where we will visit the Zay Gegeenii Khuree monastery, museum and see the Holy Bulgan mountain. Have lunch in the local restaurant in town. Continue our driving to the national park on the way we will stop for the unique shape Chuluut River canyon for photos. In the early evening we reach the camp. Overnight in the camp. In the Khorgo – Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur Natural Park, we can also see and make the ascent of Khorgo Volcano that is an extinct volcano reaching its highest point at 2240 metres (1,39 mile), located East from Terkhiin Tsagaan. This easy 16-kilometres (9,94 miles) hike will lead you to the summit of this extinct volcano covered with basalt that was active 8000 years ago. Its crater measures 200 metres (656,17 feet) in diameterand 70 to 80 metres (229,66 – 262,47 feet) in depth, and it is surrounded with small copses of trees. It has been protected since 1965. Khorgo – Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur Natural Park includes two jewels of Mongolia: Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur and the extinct volcano Khorgo.

Day13: Drive to Zuun Nuur Lake via Jargalant Hot Spring

 After breakfast, we will drive  another hot spring spot to Zuun lake. This is a large lake and the scenic highlight of the region. There is good camping here or you can stay at the Dalai Van ger camp, on the southern side of the lake. Around 30km south of Shine-Ider, right on the main road, is an area of standing stones and graves. A further 8km brings you to a scenic pass and the historic Gelenkhuugiin Suvraga, an old stupa built in 1890 by local hero Khainzan Gelenkhuu. Overnight at ger camp.

Day14: Drive to Khuvsgul Lake via Murun

 Khuvsgul Lake is located in the northwest of Mongolia near the border to Russia, at the foot of the eastern Sayan Mountains. It is 1,645 m above sea level, 136 km long and 262 m deep. It is the second-most voluminous freshwater lake in Asia, and holds almost 70% of Mongolia's fresh water and 0.4% of all the fresh water in the world. Its watershed is relatively small, and it only has small tributaries. It gets drained at the south end by the Egiin Gol, which connects to the Selenge and ultimately into Lake Baikal. The highest mountain is the Burenkhaan / Munkh Saridag (3,492 m), which has its peak north of the lake exactly on the Russian-Mongolian border. The surface of the lake freezes over completely in winter. It's inhabited by nine species of fish including the Siberian grayling, sturgeon and lenok and the area is rich with various species of flora and fauna. And the area is home to argali sheep, ibex, bear, sable, moose and wolves. The region hosts three separate, unique peoples: Darkhad, Buriat and Tsaatan. Shamanism, rather than Buddhism, is the religion of choice in these parts. Overnight in a ger camp.

Day15: Khuvsgul Lake

After breakfast, we will ride a horse around a lake, enjoy the Blue Pearl Lake Khuvsgul. There is an optional activities are kayaking, hiking, horse riding, meeting the Tsaatan people and visiting the Shaman. Overnight at the camp tourist.

Day16: Drive to Uran Togoo Volcano

After an early breakfast, We will drive to the Uran Togoo mountain. On the way we will have lunch at Murun town. After lunch we will continue our driving to the camp which located near the Uran Togoo mountain. In the late afternoon, reach the camp and visit the Uran Togoo mountain. Uran is an extinct volcano in the western side of Uran Togoo uul Natural Monument in Bulgan province, 80 km west of Bulgan town. Uran means "Artistic", Mongols named it so because its ridge of the crater is one of many examples of circles that arise in nature resembled a nice creature of a craftsman. The area is situated in the Khutag-Öndör district of Bulgan Province. 

Day17: Drive to Amarbayasgalant Monastery

After breakfast, We wiil drive to the Amarbaysgalant monastery. On the way we will have lunch at Erdenet city. Reach the  monastery in the late afternoon. The monastery was established by order of Manchu emperor Enkh-Amgalan Khan, to cherish and give respect to Zanabazar, his skills, wisdom, intellect and accomplishments. One hundred thousand langs (=3830 kg) of silver from the state fund were used to build a magnificently styled place for Buddha teaching and practice in honor Zanabazar. Originally, Amarbayasgalant Monastery consisted of over 40 temples built on the special terrace, surrounded by a wall, measuring 207x175m. Only 28 temples now remain, they have been under State protection since 1944. The size of its Tsogchin (main) temple is 32x32m. Its construction expresses the planning features of the Mongolian national architecture and engineering solutions are very original. Overnight at the camp tourist.

Day18: Drive to Khustai Park National

 We will start driving to the Hustai national park. On the way, we explore steppe and different landscapes and many wild birds and flowers. We will have lunch at famous local canteen. The national park lies in the foothills of southern Khentii mountain range. This is homeland of Takhi horses survive in nature by themselves beacause they have been reintroduced successfully to their homeland after 40 years of extinction. Currently, the number of Takhi has already reached more than 350. Overnight in the ger camp.

Day19: Drive to Terelj National park

After breakfast, we depart to Gorkhi Terelj national park. On the way we will stop for a Statue of Chingis khaan. After arriving at the ger camp, we start to exploring the national park. Visitng a Aryapala monastery and see the Turtle rock. Aryapala offers a unique and wonderful view of the Terelj area. Overnight at the camp tourist

Day20: Drive back to Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar city. We will begin our last but unforgettable day from the Gandantegchilen Monastery a heart of Mongolian yellow head Buddhism. We will experience the influence of Buddhism in Mongolia and see the outstanding and impressive 24 m golden plated statue of MegjidJanraisag. Then we will visit the National museum of Mongolia where you will learnt from prehistory to nowadays history of Mongolia. Our next move is Zaisan Memorial hill provides panoramic view of Ulaanbaatar. We will end our tour with fascinating performance of traditional folk songs, throat singing, beautiful melody of horse head fiddle, ethnic dances and artistic contortion. Farewell dinner at one of best restaurant in city. Relax in hotel.
